In the midst of Snoop Dogg's current album success with "The Blue Carpet Treatment", another track from the Doggfather himself has emerged from the vaults!
Today we take you for another trip back in time, courtesy of Meech Wells, this time to the recording process of "The Last Meal" in 2000. The track we have today was recorded at the Dogghouse Studios in Claremont and features another classic collaboration between Snoop Dogg and Meech Wells
The record in question is called "U Can't Out Pimp A Pimp" and sees Snoop Dogg in fine form over an up tempo, funky jam from Meech "The Medicine Man" Wells. Snoop Dogg flows melodically over the beat switching up between fast and slow pace and even sings a catchy chorus and explains why; "N-ggaz say they be liking when i be singing and sh-t on a record, especially the b-tches, they say they really like it..."
Drop in at our forum to leave feedback on the track and even speak to Meech Wells himself. Stay tuned for the latest news on Snoop Dogg and Meech Wells current projects. In the meantime check out Meech Wells at his MySpace page and if you haven't already then check our exclusive interviews with Snoop Dogg and Meech Wells & Young Joker.
