First off can you tell us abit about yourself, why you started rapping and how did you get into the game ?

Where do we begin? Well I'm one of the newest memembers on JA's New label MPIRE Records. The MPIRE's Back! HAHA Bitches. I was born and raised in Jamaica new york. Foch and 157 Stand Up! I started rapping because my firends was in the lunch room rapping. I used to play around with that shit me and my nigga bobcat. Then 1 day i seen my nigga rule on the cover of off XXL wit X and JAY. And that shit inspired me to go hard. From that point on me and my nigga Jack Danz of Hooks Rhymes And SInglez started working everyday Jack Produced my first Demo. Then I kept hitting Rule with My joints. I used hit rule up every other day on the phone with a new rap and he'd be llike lil nigga go hard keep writting and he said he got me. And he stood by his word and held me down by making me a part of MPIRE.

How did you get your name The Gift its a preety unique name some might say a bit cocky ?

People told me i always had a gift with words so i took that and ran with it. I want People when the see me to see me for my GiFT and realize i spit that shit. Yea its cocky but thats what the fuck rap is about. You gotta let it all out on records like fuck you i'm me.

How did you hook up Rule and The inc ?

Well i've know Rule 4 eva so i guess you could say i've always been a part of THE INC before Mpire. We Got Family Ties.

Can we expect any tracks from you on the new MI:3 mixtape ?

YEA I was Late edition, but you can check me out Doing my thing. I'm a track with my Entire MPire GANG doing what we do.

When you write your rhymes, what do you draw on for inspiration and ideas?

Inspiration comes from everyday shit, being outside, different things people say. I'm sorta like a sponge i just absorb my ambience.

Whats it like getting studio time in the Crack House since The Inc have so many artists on its roster is it difficult to lay down some material when you want to ?

SHIT! It's so busy in there you gotta have Buck3000 On Speed dial, His favorite bottle Waiting so he dont gotta go to the bar, be there just early enough to laydown a joint cause once rule come thru SHITS a rap. You getting pushed to tomorrow if ya lucky.

Were times difficult during the trial of Irv and Chris did you ever think your future carer might not happen if they were conficted ?

YEA times were rough, i mean how would you feel if you known two good dudes that was facing the rest of their lives in jail because the government had nothing better to do. That was wack but god brought us thru it and THE Mpire's standing. As far as my career i wasnt worried about it because i knew them dudes was good. With no disrespect to Chris and Irv but i'm Rules artist and he wasnt on trial so i'm cool.

What artist out there are you feeling at the moment anyone you would like to work with in the future be it artist or producer ?

Besides the MpiRE artist, I like Jay Millz He goes hard, T.I. get Right. I want to get with Keisha Cole and Tierra Marie To Do a joint. I'm looking for any new up and coming producers its time to give them a chance to get they names so Holla!
